Agree.

Dion Kostka
Franson Holzer
Gardiner Gunnarsson
Liles

If we can get away with giving Gunnarsson as much time as possible for his hip to get back together then take it.

We need Jakes speed as Liles has dissapointed so far

I think that we need to get Gardiner back into the lineup. He gives us another weapon, with his speed and puck carrying ability. The team should also consider calling up another skilled forward, because we're running a little light, on the top 9, with too many physical players taking up roster spots. Looking at the two Florida teams, I don't see too much toughness there, so they'll probably decline any challenges in the fisticuffs department. Maybe Ryan Hamilton should get another look and let him play with Kadri.

The Leafs have been winning and playing well without him. I'm willing to bet that he is a member of the Avalanche by the end of the month, and we'll welcome home Ryan O'reilly

If he is, he won't be coming for Gardiner.

I thought Gardiner is a god amongst men. Surely you meant O'Reilly, Landeskog, and Duschene for him right?

Seriously guys? I can't be the only one who believes that the drafting of Morgan Reilly makes Gardiner expendable, can I? The Avs are a perfect trading partner with Toronto. O'Rielly can be the Leafs first line center, and Gardiner can step onto the top pairing with EJ. The Leafs may have to add a piece, but it won't be a big one.

The only thing holding up the O'Reilly deal is both teams (Avs and Leafs) waiting on Gardiner to return to form. Eakins says he pretty much there...

I think Fraser should be on that list too. Trade Liles back to the Avs. Not too impressed with Franson's ability to get the puck out our own end either.

O'Reilly is a 50pt guy who will demand top dollar.. No thank you. Why not keep both Gardiner and Rielly?

I seriously think you are undervaluing O'Reilly's potential.

Agreed. As much as I want O'Reilly on the team, it just doesnt seem like the answer to our needs and the right fit. Keep what we have and use our pick this draft to hopefully pick someone who can be as good as him.

Our pp is terrible! Gardiner should be up here first chance he gets. We sit Liles for Gardiner.

But something tells me they are trying to showcase Liles.

Phaneuf Gunarsson
Gardiner Franson
Fraser kostka
Bonzer

This talk about the Leafs needing a #1 center is justified but it doesn't have to be a Sundin type. I think we were spoiled for a while with Mats and Dougie. But Boston doesn't have a dominant C they have potentially 3 number 2 centers which is good balance. I would only send Jake over if we could expand the deal to include Duchesne.

So why is Fraser sitting out? Gunnarsson and Gardiner sit and wait until someone gets injured or moved.

I seriously think u are undervaluing the value of a 22 yr old PMD. Remember what Goligoski fetched?
